Most businesses reach us with the same shape of problem: the off-the-shelf tool does 70% of the job, and the missing 30% is being covered by a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and somebody staying late. Custom software is worth building at exactly the point where that 30% costs more than the software would.

What we actually build

Client-facing platforms with authentication, roles and billing. Admin dashboards where an operations team can see the whole business on one screen. Storefronts with the inventory, orders, returns and reporting behind them. Internal tools that replace a manual monthly process — we have built an attendance and payroll fine calculator that took a full day out of every month, and a client portal that replaced account data scattered across spreadsheets and email.

How the build runs

The first release is deliberately narrow: the one workflow that carries the most pain, shipped to production where real users touch it. Everything after that is informed by what they actually did rather than by what the kickoff meeting guessed. You get a demo every week, and the code is in your repository from the first commit.

The part most quotes leave out

A web application is not finished when the last screen is styled. It needs a deployment pipeline, backups, an error tracker, and somebody who answers when it breaks at 9pm. We include those as part of the build rather than as a change request afterwards, because a product without them is not in production — it is just on the internet.

A short discovery on the process as it runs today. We come back with the smallest build that removes the bottleneck, a scope and a fixed price for release one.

Design and build in the open

Weekly demos against a staging environment that mirrors production. You use it while it is being built, so course corrections cost days rather than releases.

Launch, then keep going

Deployment pipeline, monitoring and alerting go live with the product. After that we maintain and extend it — most clients stay on monthly.

How much does a custom web application cost?

It depends on the number of real workflows, not the number of screens. A focused internal tool is a different order of magnitude from a multi-tenant platform with billing. We quote a fixed price for the first release after a short discovery, so the number you get is based on your actual process rather than on an hourly guess.

How long does it take to build?

A first production release is normally four to ten weeks depending on scope. We deliberately keep release one narrow so something real is live early; anything that would push the first launch past about ten weeks is usually two releases pretending to be one.

Which technologies do you build with?

React and TypeScript on the frontend; Node.js or Python on the backend; PostgreSQL for data. They are chosen because they are boring, well-documented and easy for you to hire for later — not because they are new. If you already have a stack and a team, we work in yours.

Can you take over a project somebody else started?

Often, yes. We start with a paid audit of the existing codebase and infrastructure and tell you plainly whether it is worth continuing or cheaper to rebuild. We would rather lose the work than take money to extend something that should not be extended.

Will I be able to maintain it without you?

That is the intent. Standard stack, conventional structure, README that explains how to run and deploy it, and no proprietary NASTACK runtime anywhere. Most clients keep us on because it is convenient, not because they are stuck.
